Fear the Walking Dead’s Victor Strand has come up against life-threatening situations more times than can be counted, yet he still survives. Colman Domingo, who plays Strand in the series, is a man of many talents, which is obvious by all of the projects he is currently involved in.

The seventh season of Fear the Walking Dead will see Strand, who has now survived a nuclear warhead, come out a survivor once again. He has betrayed Morgan, and I am uncertain how he comes back from that one. He is convinced that the horrible things he does always come out for the better and sees nothing wrong with that.

Things should be exciting in the upcoming season as we see the whole group deal with nuclear fallout from cult leader Teddy’s (John Glover) bomb.

Colman Domingo, Candyman, The God Committee and Bottomless Brunch

This year alone, we have seen Domingo kill it on the red carpet with that crystal-encrusted suit, watched him in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse on Amazon and the comedy-drama Zola and hosted season 3 of his amazing Bottomless Brunch at Colman’s.

Additionally, we will still get to see him in season seven of Fear the Walking Dead, the ‘spiritual sequel’ to Candyman on August 27, The God Committee that will release on July 2. He is slated to start in a short film called North Star, which tells the tale of a rancher and his ailing husband and their struggles through poverty and isolation while have to deal with a heartbreaking decision.

Another new project will be Domingo’s play Dot will go from stage to screen. Deadline has reported that AMC Studios and ALLBLK will co-produce the series that follows a Philadelphia family as their matriarch’s memory slowly fades, which brings about new revelations of long-held family secrets. Domingo will write, direct and executive produce, with production scheduled to start early in 2022. The series will be titled West Philly, Baby, and the first season will consist of six half-hour episodes.
