The Walking Dead has a little less than a month until the premiere of the final season airs on AMC. Many fans are purchasing memorabilia to add to their collections before the series ends. Season 10 of the series will have a Steelbook release in November. This will be a great item to add to any TWD fans collection.

Zavvi has shared the news that they have the exclusive Steelbook for season 10 of The Walking Dead available for pre-order. The release date is set for November 15, which will be after part 1 of season 11 has aired.

Season 10 was a mega season consisting of 22 episodes, that included the addition of 6 bonus episodes. At the beginning of the season, the focus was on Alpha (Samantha Morton), her Whisperers and her horde of walkers. We saw Carol (Melissa McBride) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) partner to end Alpha’s reign of terror. We saw much damage to Alexandria during this battle. The group suffered many losses which included the burning of the Hilltop community.

The bonus episodes were character-centric and shed some light on Maggie and her new group The Wardens. We saw Daryl (Norman Reedus) during the time he was searching for Rick. We also got a back story on Negan and his wife Lucille (Hilarie Burton Morgan).

You can relive it all with this amazing Steelbook box set. The cover art alone is worth the purchase.

The cover artist for the Steelbook of The Walking Dead season 10 is Jock. This is the pen name for the British cartoonist Mark Simpson. He is best known for his work in 2000 AD, The Losers, Batman and Wolverine. 

The cover, done in purple, shows Alpha front and center with walker hands reaching towards her. This is reminiscent of the previous Steelbooks for seasons 1-9 that Simpson also designed. Each box set features a character from the series with the walker hands. From my research, it looks like these steelbook sets are Zavvi exclusives.

According to Zavvi, This set also includes audio commentaries for “Lines We Cross,” “Squeeze,” and “Walk With Us.” There is also a Memoriam featurette for all of the lives lost during this season.

The Walking Dead returns with its eleventh and final season on AMC on August 22.

The season premiere episode will be available to stream on AMC+ on August 15.
