The Walking Dead’s Xander Berkeley stars in The Republic of Sarah

Over the 10 seasons of The Walking Dead, there have been many characters you love to hate. One of those was the leader of the Hilltop Community, Gregory. Xander Berkeley did an outstanding job in his portrayal of the former Hilltop leader. Currently, you can see Berkeley in the CWs The Republic of Sarah. 

The CW series The Republic of Sarah aired its pilot episode on June 14. The series is set in Greylock, New Hampshire, where a vein of coltan, an extremely valuable mineral, was discovered. Now a mining company is trying to take over the community in order to extract the mineral, which will be a detriment to Greylock. A rebellious teen, Sarah (Stella Baker), organizes the residents to form their own country to save their town.

Berekely has been cast as Paul Cooper, father of Sarah. His first appearance is July 26 in the seventh episode titled “Sanctuary.” He shared the news on his IG page, posing the question of whether viewers feel Paul is a good guy or not so much.

Berkeley stars with Stella Baker, Luke Mitchell, Hope Lauren, Nia Holloway
Ian Duff, Forrest Goodluck, Landry Bender, Megan Follows and Izabella Alvarez. Fellows is known for her role as Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables and serves as a director on two of this season’s episodes.

Another film we will be able to see Berkeley in is a pandemic thriller called Lockdown. This film is currently in post-production and was written by Bizhan Tong. The story follows an actor who enters an audition where he is forced to pass a series of tests or someone dies.

This movie was filmed worldwide in Hong Kong, the UK, the US, Italy and Japan. Also starring Kevin Leslie, Anita Chui, John Savage, Alix Wilton Regan, Pamela Nomvete, Jumayn Hunter, Mike Leeder and Reza Diako.

He will also star with Rosanna Arquette, Anna Lore, Jay Claitz and Jay Devore in a film called Not Born. The synopsis for this film reads “What happens when you secretly pay a friend to romance your Mom?”
