Walking Dead alum Steven Ogg will return for season 4 of Snowpiercer

Steven Ogg starred in The Walking Dead series as Simon, a high-ranking savior and right-hand man to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). He was introduced in the season six finale and was killed in season eight. Ogg joined the main cast of the TV series Snowpiercer in the second season. Deadline has reported that as the third season wraps production, it has been announced that the series has been renewed for a fourth season.

Snowpiercer is a post-apocalyptic dystopian thriller set in the year 2026 and is a reboot of the film of the same name. The earth has become a frozen wasteland and any humans still alive live aboard the Snowpiercer, a constantly moving luxury train that circles the earth multiple times per year and this constant motion provides energy for the train.

Diggs and his castmates announced the season 4 renewal via YouTube. 

Will Steven Ogg be in the fourth season of Snowpiercer?

Ogg will be returning for the fourth season as Pike, a Tailie who had been a convict that escaped during the freeze. He is a battle-scarred leader and warrior of his people.

Also returning for the fourth season will be Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Sam Otto, Sheila Vand, Mike O’Malley, Annalise Basso, Lena Hall, Roberto Urbina, Rowan Blanchard and Sean Bean.  Archie Panjabi, Chelsea Harris and Mike O’Malley were elevated to series regulars in season 3.

Ogg has been busy since leaving The Walking Dead, he has starred in The Tick, Better Call Saul and Westworld. He has two upcoming projects a thriller titled Orgami that the synopsis, according to IMDB reads:

"White, a farmer, grows tired of her boring life, filled with exhausting routines and a cheating alcoholic husband. One night, she comes upon a Stranger, who she takes a liking to. Now, with a small taste of excitement in her life, White’s desire to break free from her past increases and leads her down a dark path of murder."

He will also star in a horror western with fellow Walking Dead actress Pollyanna McIntosh (Jadis/Anne), called The Moonshine Gang of Cheyenne.  This synopsis for this film according to IMBD:

"Bounty Hunter Jack McGovern and his nephew Seth are transporting a member of ‘The Moonshine Gang’ through the Black Hills of South Dakota when they are suddenly greeted by a grieving father hellbent on killing the man and the rest of the gang."
