In 2016 fans of The Walking Dead were excited to learn that Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero partnered to open a restaurant in downtown Senoia called Nic and Norman’s. It is a fantastic restaurant serving unique dishes and outstanding cocktails. Once again, the restaurant will feature viewing parties for the final season of the series.

The town of Senoia is located 35 miles south of Atlanta and is the home of The Walking Dead. Opening the restaurant in this location was only logical. Senoia is full of filming sites, and the town itself was Woodbury in the series. Another highlight of the town is the community of Alexandria, which is within view as you stand on Main St.

Nic and Norman’s has a second location in Chattanooga, Tennessee offering the same quality and service you expect from this restaurant. This location is featured in the historic Chattanooga ChooChoo, home to dining, live music, a hotel, and many other points of interest.

Both locations will offer viewing parties for the final season of The Walking Dead. Tickets will be available through Eventbrite.com for the first 8 episodes beginning Monday, August 2nd at 10:00 am EST. The link will be available via the official IG page for the restaurant.

Nic and Norman’s Walking Dead viewing parties

The viewing parties at Nic and Norman’s sell out fast, especially for the season premiere. Be sure to set a reminder for August 2 so you don’t miss out on the tickets.  These events are outstanding for fans of the series. The admission usually includes your meal and a special something to remember the event. The seating is family-style, just the way TWD Family wants it to be. It is a great opportunity, especially as we enter the final season of the series. You meet up with other fans who are just as passionate as you about this fandom.

If you have extra time, spend the day in Senoia as there is so much to see. You can take a tour with Water Tower Tours or visit the Woodbury Shop, the official TWD store, and also has a TWD museum featuring many props from the series. Another great shop is Abraham’s Army featuring art by Chris Twellmann/German Abraham and great photo-op opportunities. Trip Advisor has a great list of fun things to do in Senoia.

The Walking Dead season 11

As the premiere date looms closer and the reality that this series is ending sets in, we will all need to come together and enjoy this season any way we can. The Walking Dead’s final season will be released in three parts; each will consist of 8 episodes.  You can view the official trailer to see the tone for the first part of the season.
