The Walking Dead has many cast members who have left the series during its 10 seasons. But, it is always said that once you are in TWD Family, it is forever. So, we celebrate when we see any of the current or former actors cast in new projects. Chris Coy, who played Martin in season 5 of the series, has been cast in the sixth season of the hit series Lucifer.

Coy portrayed Martin, a resident of Terminus, in season 5 of The Walking Dead. He was discovered by Carol (Melissa McBride) and Tyreese (Chad Coleman) in “No Sanctuary.” They overheard him talking on a walkie about Michonne (Danai Guaira) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) being held captive. This is what sparks Carol’s amazing rescue mission for the group being held at Terminus.

Martin was also present when Gareth (Andrew J. West) and his group cooked and ate Bob’s (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) tainted meat leg. And, then he met his demise along with Gareth and the other Terminite’s in the church in “Four Walls and a Roof.”

Coy’s character was easy to hate, but that is what makes the actor a good one. To make us believe he is a vile human being takes some talent.

Like The Walking Dead, Lucifer is entering its final season, and fans of both series are expecting these series to end on a high note. Coy has been cast as Alan, who has Chloe (Lauren German) as a hostage in this first look photo. He is holding a knife to her neck, and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Carol (Scott Porter) aim guns at Alan. That is about all we know so far regarding Coy’s character for this series.

Next, he will star in Women of the Movement, a historical drama for ABC. This series is based on the novel “Emmett Till: The Murder That Shocked the World and Propelled the Civil Rights Movement” by Devery S. Anderson. This series is scheduled to air during ABCs 2021-22 TV season.
