Daryl Dixon TWDs last man standing, but fans think it will be this guy

Fans of The Walking Dead know that Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) has dubbed Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) as the last man standing. But, recently, fans have shared other thoughts on the character that will be standing in the end. Kenric Green plays Scott, a resident of Alexandria who has been with the series since the sixth season episode “First Time Again.”

Our first introduction to Scott was at the gate of Alexandria when Eugene (Josh McDermitt) was guarding the gate. Heath (Corey Hawkins), Annie (Beth Kenner), Scott, and other supply runners returned from a run. They hadn’t met Eugene and his group before this time.

Scott was accidentally shot and almost died, but thanks to the quick mind of Denise (Merritt Wever), he lived. He was also present when Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Spencer (Austin Nichols) were playing pool, and Olivia (Ann Mahoney) was shot and killed by Arat (Elizabeth Ludlow). Scott is also the one who comforted Aaron (Ross Marquand) when his boyfriend Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson) was killed and reanimated.

If you look back, you will see that from the time this character was introduced to the present, he is always there protecting, providing and carefully watching their surroundings.

The Walking Dead’s last man standing

Scott is one character who has been present for so long but isn’t always the center of attention. A man who is always in the background doing what needs to be done. He can be seen cleaning weapons, delivering messages, guarding the gate, listening to conversations and all other sorts of background details.

The Twitter page The Walking Dead World has been featuring TWDU character profiles, and when they shared Scott’s profile, fans had much to say about this character. Check out the feeds below.

So, perhaps Beth was wrong, and the fans are right…Scott will be the last man standing.

Kenric Green, who plays Scott, is married to Sonequa Martin-Green, who played Sasha in the series, and they have two children. If you follow their IG pages, you will see a wonderful family full of love and life who are devoted spouses and parents. They are a power couple who radiates strength and love.

Green will return to The Walking Dead for the final season on August 22.
