The Walking Dead: Season 11 reveal August 5, 2021

AMC has been featuring The Walking Dead season 11 reveals each Thursday. Some weeks there have been amazing reveals and others are good, but perhaps not as impressive. This week another teaser clip has been revealed that is a lot of what we have already seen. We have to be realistic and understand they can’t show a lot more or we will be viewing the first episodes in their entirety without knowing it.

During the reveals, we saw some great first look photos of some of our favorite characters. The second week we got the name of the episodes for the first part of season 11. These titles gave us a lot to think about in regards to what the episodes could entail.

We also received a reveal that gave us a closer look at the threat known as the Reapers. These guys look deadly. This also brings up the question if Elijah was a Reaper. We see them all wearing masks like the one Elijah wears.

There have also been new bios for current characters and some first looks at new characters.

The Walking Dead season 11 reveals

This week’s Walking Dead reveal is a 36-second look at a lot of what we have already seen but there were some great new additions.

We see the burnt Alexandria sign on the ground, is this foreshadowing of things to come? Will Alexandria fall? Negan hands Maggie a gun, the same gun we think she has aimed at him in the previous teaser?

Young Judith Grimes is teaching the youth of the communities to fight. We see another shot of Daryl being held by the Reapers. We keep hearing him say he doesn’t leave anyone behind. I wonder who else the Reapers have that Daryl wants to save?

WHO is Jerry stringing up? We see Carol in the background and possibly Aaron next to him with someone’s hands bound and being strung up. There is also a walker involved in this scene? Are they capturing someone or rescuing someone?

We see that scene with Connie and the knife! YIKES! We do see Connie aiding Virgil, so perhaps he means her no harm.

There is so much going on in the teasers that it is very difficult to catch everything.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on August 22 with the premiere episode of season 11. AMC+ subscribers can stream this episode one week early.
