Talking Dead announces guests for August 22 episode

Talking Dead is back and ready to give us all the BTS and fun tidbits of the current episodes of The Walking Dead. Last week aired a preview special that featured Angela Kang, Norman Reedus, and newcomer Michael James Shaw as the guests. It was a great feature hyping the fandom for the AMC release on August 22.

After the AMC premiere of “Acheron Part 1,” Talking Dead will once again have Kang as a guest, and she will be joined by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Paola Lázaro for that evening’s episode. Fans can submit their questions via the thread on Talking Dead’s Twitter post. 

Talking Dead premiered on October 16, 2011, which followed the season 2 premiere of The Walking Dead. This talk show features a great rundown of the recently aired episodes with guests consisting of cast and crew members as well as celebrity fans. This show highlights all three series in The Walking Dead Universe.

Kang, showrunner and co-writer, always shares great insight into the making of the episode and any BTS tidbits that fans love to hear about.

Morgan, who plays Negan, will be able to share about his role in the first episode. We have seen many clips and photos of Negan in this episode, so it will be great to get Morgan’s take on how things played out for this character. There is a lot of tension between Negan and Maggie and fans are curious about what will happen between the two.

Lázaro plays Princess and we know her character along with Ezekiel, Yumiko and Eugene, are being held by the Commonwealth. She will be able to shed light on what transpired in the first episode for this group. Will the Commonwealth become a friend or foe?
