Cast members of The Walking Dead joined in a Walking Dead watch party on Twitter for the season 11 premiere. It was amazing to see so many cast members take part in this event. Lauren Cohan even reactivated her Twitter to partake. I felt that Khary Payton had the best posts with his hilarious commentary throughout the episode. One person who doesn’t post on social media a lot is Melissa McBride. But, on premiere night, she treated fans to some beautiful black and white BTS photos giving us a glimpse of our favorites out of character.

McBride plays Carol Peletier, one of the longest-standing members of the series. She, along with Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, were members of the original Atlanta group and will go on to their own spin-off series that will be nothing like the current series.

Carol is one of the characters who has experienced the most growth over the course of the 10 seasons and is one of the strongest people in the series. She is selfless and courageous, and McBride has done an outstanding job of bringing life to this character on our screens.

The Walking Dead premiere BTS photos

The first photo McBride shares is of Cassady McClincy, who plays Lydia. She is trying to stay cool in the hot Georgia sun.

McBride’s photo was a retweet of McClincy’s BTS photo of the two of them with Christian Serratos.

Next, she shares a photo of Nadia Hilker, who plays Magna. She coyly peaks from behind her gloved hand that is holding what appears to be a face shield.

Angel Theory, who plays Kelly, is up next. She shares one of her winning smiles in a backlit photo, making her truly look like an angel.

Lauren Cohan, as Maggie sits at the Alexandria council table, most likely preparing for the scene where she talks about the Reapers and what they did to her group, the Wardens.

The next photo is not black and white, or it would take away from the stained glass at the Alexandria church. We see Ross Marquand as Aaron, complete with his prosthetic hand with a huge grin on his face.

Seth Gilliam looks perfect in black and white as Father Gabriel.

McBride captions this one “Contemplating Christian Contemplating.” We see Christian Serratos, who plays Rosita, as she sits, most likely contemplating.

And, lately, the man himself, Norman Reedus. He dressed in his Daryl Dixon garb, complete with fingerless gloves and a leather vest.

Thank you, Melissa McBride, for giving us a BTS glimpse into some of our favorite cast members. However, we would have loved a selfie as well!
