The Sexton: official Walking Dead whiskey, we’re gonna need a cocktail

The final season of The Walking Dead is going to be HUGE. Not only in the super-sized 24 episode season but in the storyline as well. The series will end with an eleven-season run that will have a total of 177 episodes. So, how else can AMC make this season even bigger? Have an official whiskey sponsor for the season. The Sexton, a single malt, ironically encourages its consumers “to celebrate a life well lived,” has partnered with The Walking Dead in its final season.

Let’s face it, by the end of the series; we’re gonna need a cocktail.

Walking Dead viewing parties can now have signature cocktails with The Sexton. The collaboration will include an insider program, BTS content, merch discounts and a cocktail kit with a “Live For Today” cocktail.

Variety has reported that the whiskey is distributed by Proximo Spirits, who will be running ads during the first eight episodes in part 1 of 3 release of season 11. The commercials are created by Dead As We Know It and will encourage viewers to treat themselves to things that make them happy because life is short. There will also be pieces fans can unlock related to the series and some social media discount codes.
