Fear The Walking Dead’s Zoe Colletti cast in Netflix, Boo, Bitch
By Renee Hansen
It wasn’t too long ago we watched as Fear the Walking Dead ended its sixth season with a bang. The nuclear bombs that cult leader Teddy (John Glover) set off exploded, and many died. This included Dakota, who Zoe Colletti played. There was no love lost on losing Dakota, but Colletti was an outstanding actress and a sad loss to the series. Now we will get to see her in Netflix’s new comedy, Boo, Bitch.
Colletti joined Fear the Walking Dead in season six. We were originally told she was Virginia’s (Colbie Minifie) sister and eventually learned she is her daughter. At one point, you think she is going to turn out ok and then she shoots John Dorie (Garrett Dillahunt) because he realized she was the one who killed Cameron, and you know she’s just bad news. She eventually sides with Teddy, who would lead to her death.
She did an outstanding job on the series, so it will be great to see her in something new.
Zoe Colletti cast in Netflix’s Boo, Bitch
Variety has reported that Netflix’s new comedy series, Boo, Bitch will star Colletti, Lana Condor, Mason Versaw and Aparna Brielle. The film centers on a high school girl, Erika (Condor), who, upon entering her senior year, decides to change her average life to an epic one to find out that she is a ghost. Colletti plays Gia, Erika’s best friend, Versaw is Jake C., Erika’s crush and Brielle will play Riley, a mean girl who has made Ericka’s life miserable since freshman year.
Other characters include Gavin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor), a member of the Afterlifers, a group dedicated to the paranormal and known medium. Jason Genao will play Devon, a classmate who has never forgiven Erika for giving him the nickname stinky in the third grade that has followed him his entire school career.
The series will consist of 8 half-hour episodes and is co-created by showrunners Erin Ehrlick and Lauren Iungerich. The series will also see Condor executive produce along with Ehrlick, Lungerich, Jonathon Komack Martin, Blake Goza and Jamie Dooner.
Up Next, you can see Colletti in Acts of Crime, A Boy Called Christmas and Evolution of Nate Gibson.
She will also reprise her roles as Stella Nicholls in Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark 2, a film I am super excited about as the first one was outstanding.
Congrats to Zoe Colletti on all her new projects!!
