The Walking Dead World Beyond trailer and crossover character
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead: World Beyond will premiere its second season on October 3. This is the second spin-off series to the flagship series The Walking Dead, which has entered into its eleventh and final season. World Beyond is a limited series that will end with its second season.
The series is coming of age story about a group of teens who have grown up after the outbreak, behind walls that have kept them hidden from the truth of what the world has become. They knew nothing of defending themselves from the undead and have had to learn as they go. They left the confines of the walls to seek out the father of two members of their group, only to be betrayed by another member.
The first season’s ending found the group separated, with two members being detained by the CRM.
The Walking Dead World Beyond cross over character
The Walking Dead Universe has seen three cross-over characters. Morgan (Lennie James), Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista) have all crossed from Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead. It has served the characters well as they have gotten better storylines and more screen time.
There are many characters the fandom has hoped to see crossover, and now another will cross over from The Walking Dead to The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
It won’t be much of a surprise as we saw her radio the CRM for a helicopter to help save Rick Grimes. Jadis/Anne will be the character we see in the second season of World Beyond.
The Walking Dead World Beyond trailer
The official trailer was released earlier this week, and fans got a great look at Anne (Pollyanna McIntosh) in full CRM military gear. It is always so exciting to see these crossovers. And, this trailer makes the second season of the series look like something everyone will want to watch.
Many fans haven’t enjoyed this series or stopped watching because it just wasn’t what they experienced. I have a feeling many will come back to see this season. It looks to be more action-packed, but there are also supposed to be clues to Rick. It has been confirmed he won’t make an appearance in the series, as many hoped, but with the addition of Anne, we could really find out some information about what happened to him after the helicopter saved him.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond returns to AMC on October 3.
