Fear the Walking Dead has less than 40 days until its season 7 premiere on AMC, and the trailer shows some major confrontation.

In the season 6 finale, Teddy Maddox set off his nuclear bombs despite Morgan and Strand’s efforts to stop him. Now, the state of Texas is a literal wasteland. We can see the fallout and the distraction all around. Things will get very interesting in the upcoming season as we see how everyone will adapt to their new surroundings.

Our group of survivors is scattered in different directions, and Alicia is trapped in an underground bunker in an undisclosed location. Is there anyone left alive who knows of the location?

This art is amazing, look at the colors, and the looks of anger exchanged between these two powerhouse characters. The clashing of two powerful personalities, both of which will not be backing down in the upcoming season.

Morgan survived an assassination attempt from Strand, and a nuclear blast will now, more than ever, be ready to fight to survive. He has Grace and baby Morgan to live for now, and I don’t see him rolling over and letting things go as he has in the past.

Strand, as always, landed in a pile of crap and came out smelling like a rose. He was resigned to the fact his end was inevitable, only to survive the blast, proving that his methods work to his advantage each time.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7 trailer

The season 7 trailer for Fear the Walking Dead shows us many clips of many different things going on. The biggest being the feud between Morgan and Strand. Neither of these men will be giving in to the other any time soon.

We also see many of the survivors in full hazmat suits as the air is unbreathable. The walkers are all melty, and things just look bleak.

There are quick clips of Dwight and Sherry who look like they are being captured. June and John Dorie Sr. are seen in their bunker. Many unknown people who are masked and heavily armed are also shown. I honestly think we see all of our survivors but Alicia.

Season 7 is sure to be a good one. I am a big fan of Morgan and Strand. It will be hard to choose sides.

Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 17 with the season premiere of its seventh season. AMC+ subscribers will be able to stream this episode on October 10.
