1) This week’s “Previously on The Walking Dead,” which focuses on Alexandria’s status post-Whisperer War and the first encounter with the Reapers, was voiced by Melissa McBride.

2) Cole is the third named character to die this season.

3) In this episode’s title sequence, after the silhouettes of the horse riders, we see bodies hung upside-down from poles, like those marking the Reapers’ territory.

4) In a nice callback, while talking with Carol about retrieving Alexandria’s lost horses, Aaron references the sad fate of Buttons, a horse he and Daryl (Unsuccessfully) tried to collect in season five’s “Forget.”

5) It’s kind of odd that Hershel should ask Judith how she felt about her mom going away since Michonne has to have been gone for, at least, a couple of weeks in the show, anyway. Is this hinting at Michonne’s possible return?
