Brawlhalla adding Negan and Maggie to list of Walking Dead characters

Blue Mammoth Games’ Brawlhalla will be adding more Walking Dead characters to its list to its fighters. Last year Brawlhalla crossed with The Walking Dead to bring Rick Grimes, Michonne and Daryl Dixon to the game. Now they will also be adding Negan and Maggie Rhee.

Brawlhalla is a free-to-play 2D fighting game developed by Blue Mammoth Games and Ubisoft for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Steam, iOS, and Android. It also allows cross-play on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android and iOS.

Brawlhalla and Walking Dead trailer reveal

In the opening, which is set in a jail cell, the sign reads “Home Sweat Home,” which is possibly a play on Maggie’s main return episode, “Home Sweet Home.”

We then see a close-up of Negan complete with a leather jacket, his trusty weapon, Lucille and a quote from “Last Day on Earth.” We see him in some game action using a crowbar as a weapon.

Maggie’s close-up shows her in fingerless gloves, her recent trademark hat and backpack welding a sign for a weapon. Her quote is from season 11 when she is talking to Negan. She uses her sign to do some severe damage during gameplay.

The crossover characters are available via ‘mammoth coins’ and not the norman coins.

All five of The Walking Dead characters are shown in the trailer, each with their iconic looks from the series. We see clips of all of them in gameplay. Daryl even has his crossbow and bike in the game.

Negan and Maggie will be available on September 22.
