The Walking Dead episode “Out of the Ashes” is the fifth episode for season 11. It is a dynamic episode that touches on three major storylines. Once again, we see Maggie and Negan on their trek to the satellite rendezvous point. We also get our first real look at the Commonwealth. The ashes of Hilltop are visited by Aaron, Carol, Jerry and Lydia, where they encounter something unexpected.

He is teamed up with Jerry, who always puts a positive spin on things no matter the circumstances, and Carol, who tries to be a voice of reason to him.
