The Walking Dead goes full on horror for 1106 On the Inside

The Walking Dead season 11 has been a wild ride so far. We are halfway through part one of the season, and it has been non-stop action. We’ve entered the Commonwealth, Daryl is a Reaper, Gabe and Aaron have joined the dark side, and now we finally get to see Connie and the poor woman has entered a haunted house.
This article contains no spoilers, only a review of what the sneak peek of the episode “On the Inside” reveals.
It starts with a creepy hallway, old-timey photos with eyes scrapped off, and everyone knows those photos are synonymous with horror. Then the usual nasty bathroom, and how brave is Connie for looking in the mirror? (hasn’t she seen Candyman?) She still keeps a sense of humor as she asks herself, “Don’t you look delightful?” Then as she peers closer in the medicine cabinet, she sees the jaundiced yellow eyes of something/someone staring back at her.
And, keep in mind Connie is deaf so that just compounds the horror element of this all as she wouldn’t be able to hear if something sneaks up on her.
Just in time for the Halloween horror season, The Walking Dead kicks it into high gear with some true horror!
The Walking Dead Connie returns
What we know so far is that Virgil found Connie somewhere near Oceanside. We also understand that the Whisperer that Aaron and company found at Hilltop saw her recently. My question is, where have she and Virgil been this whole time?
Regardless of that, we will see her and Virgil, but will they survive what they encounter in this next episode? It would be very cruel of the writers to tease us with her surviving the cave in only to die as soon as she reappears.
So, we will move forward with the idea she does survive and will be reunited with her family.
What is this haunted house she and Virgil enter? We see from the promo below that Virgil is with her, and she is able to communicate with him they are not alone.
It appears that Carol, Magna and Kelly are searching for Connie. They have her notebook, and it seems they were being followed, or at least Connie thought they were. There have been photos and clips of some strange-looking people or walkers that are crawling and dirty and just plain creepy looking. These must be those who live in this haunted house.
