Markice Moore will always be remembered for his role as Andrew on The Walking Dead. He was one of the prisoners found by Rick Grimes and his group at the West Georgia Correctional Facility. When Rick and his group moved into the prison, they had no idea some former inmates still inhabited it. Now he is staring in Starz’s new series Black Mafia Family.
In season three of The Walking Dead, after Rick and the group moved into the prison, they were scoping out the facility when Hershel was bitten. They entered the cafeteria, where Rick chopped off Hershel’s leg to stop the spread of the infection. Unknown to the group, this was watched from behind bars by five inmates who had been locked in the prison for ten months. Andrew, Tomas, Oscar, Big Tiny, and Axel had no idea about what had been going on outside the prison during this time.
Andrew doesn’t care for the way Rick does things, and eventually, they have it out. Andrew tells Oscar, “Shoot him! We can take back this prison! What you waiting for?! Do it! It’s our house, shoot him!” But, Oscar, trying to stay alive and safe inside the prison, shoots Andrew.
He wasn’t around for long, but Moore played a great character for this storyline.
