The Walking Dead episode “On the Inside” is an outstanding horror-themed episode that has fans talking. It was exciting from the start and carried through for the entire episode. The episode followed Virgil and Connie in their haunted house, Carol, Magna, Rosita and Kelly on their search and rescue mission and Daryl and the Reapers.

With so much going on in this episode, it left your mind reeling afterward. Wondering what would happen with Connie and Virgil set your heart racing and how the creators set this up as a mini horror film was outstanding.

Watching poor Kelly go through so many emotions regarding her sister was so emotional. She’s been a rock for many people, lifting their spirits while fighting to keep her inner turmoil at bay. And I loved how Rosita nixed the community wasting any more time deciding about the search party and took charge of it.

Daryl. WOW! That whole Reaper torture stuff is intense. We all know he has a plan, but it’s tough watching it all play out. And Frost, what a true hero, trying to do what he could to save his friends.

THIS WEEK’S MVP GOES TO VIRGIL AND CONNIE

The Walking Dead MVP Virgil and Connie

I couldn’t choose just one as they both were outstanding at saving one another. This duo is one I would love to see have more screen time. We don’t know Virgil’s fate, but it doesn’t look good.

They haven’t known one another for very long, and they cannot communicate in any traditional sense, but they were able to figure out ways to get their messages across to one another.

Virgil took his second chance at life, given to him by Michonne, and made it count. He wasn’t going to let Connie die on his watch. And Connie, being the badass she is, wasn’t going to let Virgil die for all he was sacrificing for her.

Bravo to writer Kevin Deiboldt and director Greg Nicotero and all involved in “On the Inside.” This is one of my favorite episodes of the entire Walking Dead series.

dark. Next. The Walking Dead On the Inside – one of the best episode of the series
