Lauren Ridloff recently made her return to The Walking Dead series. Her character Connie has been missing for some time after she was trapped in a cave-in. Viewers knew she survived as she was found by Virgil (Kevin Carroll) at the end of the regular season 10. Although her family had always held out hope, they only recently discovered that she was still alive. Her return to The Walking Dead has been celebrated within the fandom, and now she will star in the upcoming MCU film Eternals set to release this fall.

In the series most recent episode, “On the Inside,” Connie experienced a haunted house full of feral people who lured her and Virgil to their house as they were cannibals. It was set up like an actual mini horror film—one of the best of the series.

Connie has now been reunited with her sister and other family members, but Virgil was seriously injured, and we have yet to see if he will survive his wounds.

Ridloff will play the first deaf superhero in the new movie Eternals that will be released on November 5. Her character is Makkari, whose superpower is speed. Although she is the first, she won’t be the only deaf actress as Alaqua Cox will play Echo in the Disney+ series Hawkeye.

The other members of Eternals are Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos,  Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.

This film has generated much buzz within the MCU and Ridloff joins the other Walking Dead cast members who are part of that universe.

Urban Decay cosmetics has introduced a new Eternals eyeshadow palette.  Urban Decay is known for its pop-culture-themed palettes, and this one is gorgeous. Below, actress and writer Dani Fernandez shared the palette on Twitter.
