The Walking Dead World Beyond second season will pick up where the first season left off. The new season will see the young people of this series in a more grown-up light. They have experienced some significant life-altering experiences and aren’t little kids any longer.

Season two will see all of the group separated while Hope is taken to the CRM by Huck and Elizabeth, Felix, Will and Iris meet a new group, while Will is wanted by the CRM. Elton has some hard truths to face and figure out what to do next as he is on the run with Percy. Silas avoided being killed but was captured by the CRM.

Huck’s double-cross will most likely affect Felix, but hopefully, his reunion with Will allows him to cope with this betrayal.

The Walking Dead World Beyond showrunner Matt Negrete and co-creator Scott M. Gimple will wrap up the final season of this series and hopefully answer questions about the CRM. This group has been teased on all three of the franchise series, but we still don’t know much about them. From the trailer for this season, it appears that we will find out more.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Negrete shared that this season all of the directors are female. Although this wasn’t intentional, Negrete did have a goal to have most of this season’s episodes directed by women. He met with many directors, male and female, and his ultimate goal was to choose the best; in the end, they were all women.

Below is the list of the episodes with their director.

“Konsekans” — directed by Loren Yaconelli
“Foothold” — directed by Loren Yaconelli
“Exit Wounds” — directed By Aisha Tyler
“Family Is a Four-Letter Word” — directed By Aisha Tyler
“Quartervois” — directed by Heather Cappiello
“Who Are You?” — directed by Heather Cappiello
“Blood and Lies” — directed by Lily Mariye
“Returning Point” — directed by Lily Mariye
“Death and the Dead” — directed by Loren Yaconelli
“The Last Light” — directed by Loren Yaconelli

Tyler and Cappiello have both directed episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and to have directors with experience within the franchise is a bonus. Mariye and Tyler have acting experience, which is also a plus.
