Fear the Walking Dead Victor Strand

1) This episode’s “Previously, on Fear the Walking Dead” focused on Strand’s attempt to “go undercover” among the Pioneers to take down Virginia, insisting on Alicia not losing herself (because he had to). As well as Teddy locking Alicia in the Franklin Hotel’s fallout shelter and Teddy launching a nuclear warhead. We saw Wes, Luciana, Daniel, Rabbi Kessner, Sarah, and Charlie being airlifted out by the CRM.

2) The walker we see chasing the rat as the episode begins is wearing a scorched, ripped-up backpack, suggesting he was a survivor who was traveling in the area when the nuke hit.

3) Also, before falling to the ground, the walker’s groans sound strangely more like gasps or coughs, as if he were still alive.

4) The nuclear shadows on the walls underneath the overpass, near Will’s van, appear to be of a mother and two small children. Regardless of who they were, the fate of the owners of those shadows remains unknown.

5) This week’s title sequence features Strand, in front of a neon green background (Not surprisingly), with the abandoned lighthouse Will explored in the pre-title sequence standing behind him.
