Fear The Walking Dead season 7 episode 2: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
Fear the Walking Dead: Time is not your friend
1) This week’s “Previously on Fear The Walking Dead” focuses on Strand’s statement to Howard that anyone looking for him will have to go through his new walker barricade. We also see Strand telling him that he isn’t worried about Morgan, the nuclear warheads launched from the Pennsylvania making landfall at the end of last season, and Morgan rescuing Mo just before the warheads hit.
2) How much of the area was hit? We get a relative area later, but we only saw one mushroom cloud, though the “Previously…” kindly reminded us there were multiple warheads on the missile. Which brings us back to the original question: How much of the area was hit?
3) By all appearances, all of the walkers of the remaining members of the USS Pennsylvania’s crew and the Beginners are gone. Presumably, that means that Morgan killed something around one hundred walkers or more. DAMN.
4) This week’s title sequence features Morgan, Grace, and baby Mo, all dressed in radiation suits, walking in the wasteland, in front of a blue background, with a car’s headlights behind them, as a weird, muffled version of the theme plays.
5) This episode gets its name from the amount of time Grace calculated either she or Morgan could stay out in the wasteland. If you want a specific quote, it might be Morgan saying: “You said six hours is the longest that either one of us could be out there. You said that, right?”
