Fear The Walking Dead season 7 episode 2: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
Fear the Walking Dead finding safety
6) Morgan says that the estimates of the fallout could be a couple of hundred miles in any direction. Assuming this to be the case, this could mean that areas as far away as Austin to the west, and Lafayette, Louisiana, to the east, could have been affected by the blast.
7) Grace’s desire not to hear the Roy Orbison song “In Dreams” isn’t surprising. That song was significant to her vision of the future with Athena that never came to pass in last season’s episode of the same name.
8) Grace’s general sentiment towards Morgan because of his decision not to kill the two of them at the end of last season is reminiscent of Andrea’s reaction to Dale. In the early part of season two of The Walking Dead, he convinced her to leave the CDC headquarters (and not commit suicide) in the season one finale, “TS-19”.
9) While holding Morgan and Grace captive, Fred tells them that a storm blew in not long after the warheads fell, sending a good bit of the fallout towards neighboring Louisiana.
10) During the fight with the juicy walkers, we discover that Fred and Bea’s community used tin cans strung together as a local communication system. While this is an effective tool over short distances, this is the first time we’ve seen it used in any Walking Dead show.
