The Walking Dead World Beyond Quatervois

We finally start to learn more about the history of the Civic Republic and the shady behavior of its military in the latest Connecting The Walking Dead. It’s been a little while, but I hadn’t found many connections in recent episodes.

This week’s episode of World Beyond did have some relevant information that opens up more of the history of the CR for us to examine and their role in the more extensive history of The Walking Dead universe.

We also learned about a lot of the shady nature of the CRM, specifically how it’s doing things that it should not be doing because it is trying desperately to avoid coming under oversight by the CR’s civilian government. We also got an indication of just how far the CRM would go to prevent that oversight and, ultimately, relinquish power.

We saw a formal crossover between The Walking Dead and World Beyond. A former villain from the original series made her debut in World Beyond, apparently becoming the main antagonist for the end of the first half of this season.

We finally got some connections, and it’s about time we talk about them.
