Laurie Holden Crimson Countess first look photos have been released

Walking Dead fans are excited to see Laurie Holden in her new role as Crimson Countess in The Boys. The first look photos have been released, and she looks badass. She is donned in crimson from head to toe, and that red lip stain just enhances the beauty of this woman.

Holden is remembered as Andrea on The Walking Dead, and although many thought her character annoying in the series, most can agree her comic counterpart was terrific. Fans feel ripped off by not getting the comic book Andrea in the series.

Andrea starred in the series from season one until her death in season four. No matter how you felt about the character, her death was heartbreaking. She was bitten on the neck by Milton and chose to end her life before she could reanimate. Michonne, who saved Andrea after she was separated from Rick’s group, was with her before she died, as was Rick, Daryl, Tyreese, and Sasha.

A few months ago, it was announced that Holden was cast for the third season of Amazon’s popular series The Boys. This series, like The Walking Dead, is based on a comic book series of the same name. Holden will portray Crimson Countess in the series.

Holden will join stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Sean Patrick Flanery, Miles Gaston, Nick Wechsler. Frances Turner, Kristin Booth, Jack Doolan and Jensen Ackles this season.

What are the Crimson Countess powers?

Crimson Countess is a Vought Superheronie, and her powers are heat vision, fire and heat manipulation. She is a parody of the Marvel character Scarlet Witch.

The Boys season three is set to release on Amazon sometime in 2022. Filming for the third season wrapped in September 2021, but there is still much to do in the post-production process.  We can’t wait to see Laurie Holden in her role as Crimson Countess.
