Lauren Ridloff can’t find a McDonald’s Happy Meal toy Makkari

The Walking Dead’s Lauren Ridloff is making headlines with all of her successes. Her role in the MCU film Eternals has people talking, and her fan base is rapidly growing. Did you know you could get a Happy Meal toy of her Eternals character? I didn’t!

Ridloff is a deaf actress who joined The Walking Dead in season nine. Her joining the cast has shed light on ASL in the fandom. She plays Connie in the series and for quite some time has been missing after a cave collapsed, trapping her. In reality, Ridloff was filming Eternals, but this storyline fits well to explain her absence on The Walking Dead. 

Connie has made her return in season 11 of the series, to the delight of her family. Her comeback episode was one of my favorite of the entire series. It was a story right out of a horror film. The episode “On The Inside” was outstanding and a great way to bring Connie back into the fold of the story.

It seems that Connie has a forgiving heart and has extended that forgiveness to Carol, who caused the cave-in. We will see some happy reunions when more people learn of her safe return to Alexandria. She was accompanied by Virgil, who had been seriously wounded but did all he could to help Connie return to her family.

Eternals Happy Meal Toys featuring Lauren Ridloff

To my surprise, McDonald’s has Eternals characters as Happy Meal toys. To my extra surprise, we got Makkari! She’s so tiny and cute!! When you push the button on the back of her head, her arms move.

I posted the above, and SpaceWalker commented their sadness about not getting Makkari yet; then, Ridloff also stated she has yet to get one! But, she is still searching!

Eternals is currently playing in theaters.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC and AMC+ in February 2022.
