Who plays Sherry on Fear the Walking Dead?

Fear the Walking Dead’s most recent episode “Till Death,” featured Walking Dead cross-over characters Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry ( Christine Evangelista). In keeping with the anthology episodes, this week we caught up with the pair to see how they have fared since the nuclear bomb was detonated.

In the season six finale, we saw Dwight and Sherry hunker down in a bunker with a family they saved from some of Teddy’s henchmen. Since that time they have formed a new group called Dark Horses where they are trying to right some of the wrongs in the world.

This week we saw the pair captured and taken to Strand’s tower. The shock on all of their faces was comical. The pair declined Strands offer to join him at the tower and results in him hiring a hitman to kill their new friends The Larson’s which includes their daughter. For all we know of Strand killing children is a shock, even from him.

In the end, Dwight and Sherry help out a new friend, Mickey (Aisha Tyler), and discuss having a family. They receive another call for the Dark Horses to help and they head out with Mickey making the duo a trio as they meet with the Stalkers who extend an invitation for the trio to join forces with them to find Padre.

Who plays Sherry on Fear the Walking Dead?

Christine Evangelista has played the role of Sherry since season six of The Walking Dead. At that time she became one of Negan’s wives to lessen the punishment of disobeying him. She eventually helps Daryl escape his imprisonment at the Sanctuary and then she runs away.

Dwight looks for her and tells Negan that she was devoured by walkers so he will stop looking for her. Dwight finds a note from Sherry at their old house and decides he must find her.

The storyline of these characters cross-over to Fear the Walking Dead during its fifth season when we see Dwight still searching for Sherry and he meets with John and June. The pair finally meet again in season six.

Christine Evangelista Fear the Walking Dead

Evangelista began her career in some off-Broadway shows and episodes in Law & Order, White Collar, Royal Pains, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, and 666 Park Avenue. Her first regular role was in 2007 on the series The Kill Point, followed by Lucky 7, Chicago Fire and The Arrangement.
