The Walking Dead’s first walker actress Addy Miller will star in a new horror film. The Devil’s Tree is said to now be in post-production, but no release date has been announced.

Miller is an icon in The Walking Dead fandom by being the first walker who appeared in season 1, episode 1.  Affectionately known as Teddy Bear Walker, her character’s name was actually Summer. She was the first walker killed by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), and the fact that she was a child showed viewers this was going to be one heck of a series.

She was brought back for the 100th episode, which was kept secret from everyone. Greg Nicotero, EP, director and SFX for the series, thought it would be a pleasant surprise.
