The Walking Dead: World Beyond Blood and Lies

The Civic Republic Military’s nefarious secrets are starting to be uncovered, but not without cost, as we learn in this week’s Connecting The Walking Dead.

I have long been a fan of espionage stories and mysteries, stories of supposedly benevolent people or entities doing nefarious things for nefarious reasons in the shadows. To see such things within stories of a zombie apocalypse is a marriage of two of my favorite things, and this week’s episode of The Walking Dead: World Beyond did just that.

This week’s episode didn’t have much which connected it to its sister series, but what it did have were a lot of answers to a lot of mysteries that I’ve been wondering about since early last season. As well as to events going back to nearly the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, and opens the door to many questions and mysteries I’d be remiss if I ignored. Also, if I’m being honest, they seem to give a little credence to some of my theories about the CRM, which I just love.

Because of this, don’t be too surprised if this week’s Connecting The Walking Dead winds up looking a lot like one of my The Walking Dead Theories. With all the sketchy things we learned the Civic Republic Military is and has been up to, my “connecting” will look like the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia conspiracy meme with me in place of Charlie Day. That’s fine, though.
