Fear The Walking Dead, Till Death: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
Fear the Walking Dead season 7
1) This week’s “Previously” focuses on Dwight and Sherry meeting the Larsons (and liberating their cellar from a pair of Teddy Maddox’s goons) in the season six finale, “The Beginning.” John Dorie Sr.’s confrontation with the Stalkers and Strand telling John he wants him to find out who they are in “Cindy Hawkins.” We also saw Dwight and Sherry taking shelter with the Larsons to avoid the nuclear blast in “The Beginning.”
2) Considering their time under Negan and the Saviors, it would make perfect sense that Dwight and Sherry wouldn’t take very kindly to thieves.
3) How did Eli’s friend not know what a dragonfruit was? He seems old enough to have seen one before the outbreak, so how does he not know?
4) Speaking of knowing things, how did Dwight and Sherry know where Eli and his friend were? While we see that they have a radio frequency later in the episode, they came from ahead of the thieves, meaning that they didn’t follow them; they just knew where they were going to be.
5) Clearly, their arrangement of killing thieves has made Dwight and Sherry fear they’ll become like Negan. How many people have they killed since the bomb fell?
6) This week’s title sequence features Dwight and Sherry, as their Dark Horses alter-egos on horseback, in front of a gray background, with a slower, spaghetti-Western-style version of the theme song. The edges of the screen are once again burning.
