Maggie Grace, Fear the Walking Dead Instagram take over

This week, Fear the Walking Dead aired “Reclamation,” the sixth episode of the seventh season. This episode also marks one character’s last for this season. Al, played by Maggie Grace, will not be returning this season.

Showrunner Andrew Chambliss made this announcement during Fear the Walking Dead: Episode Insider, which airs following the episode. When Grace’s name moved from “starring” to “also starring” in the credits, Fans were concerned. But, it seems the storyline is being left wide open for Grace’s return.

Reports have circulated with the announcement that the series will be leaving Austin, Texas, to begin filming in Savannah, Georgia, in December. The series has yet to be renewed for an eighth season, but hopefully, we will hear news of that shortly.

This Sunday, Grace took over the Fear TWD official Instragam page and shared some fun photos.

Below is an excellent photo of Grace, Lennie James, who plays Morgan and Karen David who plays Grace. Filming for some of this episode took place at night, and it seems, from the caption, that they filmed all night long.

David commented that they had a lot of fun filming in thunderstorms!

Grace posted another great photo of herself striking a pose during filming. She shared her gratitude for the cast and crew.

The episode “Reclamation” saw the CRM and Al on an active search for Isabelle (Sydney Lemmon). Isabelle is/was a CRM helicopter pilot and soldier. When she ran a rescue mission to save Daniel, Wes, Luciana, Sarah, Jacob and Charlie, this was done without permission from the CRM. Now, they were looking for her, most likely with orders to kill her for her insubordination.

Al decided that she would find Isabelle first to save her and tell her that she was ready to go with her, no matter what comes. The CRM will be hunting for them, but their love is stronger, and they are willing to take the chance, no matter what.

Fear the Walking Dead will return to AMC on November 28 with “The Portrait.” This episode is available to stream on AMC+ now.
