Fear the Walking Dead, there is always another threat

The whole reason Al was distancing herself from Isabelle was out of fear that the CRM would constantly be hunting them. While that is true, so what?

Yes, the CRM are not people to be trifled with, but there are also countless other threats that will emerge in a zombie apocalypse. If it’s not natural disasters threatening you, it’s zombies. If it’s not zombies, it’s people. If it’s not people, it’s resource shortages. There will always be something out to get you in a zombie apocalypse. The mere existence of those “somethings” is not enough of a reason to throw people away.

We know that the CRM can track Isabelle to a certain degree, but it wouldn’t be impossible for her to hide from them. She could find some place far from the CRM’s outposts and try to carve a life for themselves out there.

More to the point, even if the CRM weren’t hunting Isabelle, it doesn’t mean that they’d necessarily be any safer because wherever they went, there could easily be a large group of hostiles. As we’ve seen with Terminus, the Wolves, the Saviors, the Whisperers, or the Beginners lurking around who could be just as dangerous and destructive as the CRM, even if they aren’t as coordinated or well-armed.

Danger is the nature of the beast in a zombie apocalypse, and you can’t let a specific one paralyze you with fear, because, there will always be danger.
