Fear the Walking Dead, Reclamation

1) This week’s “Previously” focused on Althea telling Sarah, Rabbi Kessner, Daniel, Luciana, Charlie, and Wes not to ask the pilot sent to rescue them (Isabelle) any questions (From the season six finale, “The Beginning”). Sarah recalled the emergency landing the helicopter had to take, asking Al who the pilot was, and she brushed it off by saying, “It’s best if you don’t know” from this season’s fourth episode, “Breathe With Me.” We also saw Morgan telling Sarah that they need to “get everybody back, and then get ready for whatever comes next” from that same episode.

2) As Al is going through her belongings inside the MRAP, she has a tape labeled “The Bog 17-24”. Is that another recording of the battle between the U.S.  Army and the Texas National Guard, as the “Bog #7” tape? This tape was featured in Isabelle’s introductory episode, season five’s “The End Of Everything.”

3) As Al is about to leave the MRAP, she takes a minute to snack on some cup ramen. This is some of the same ramen that we discovered she gave to Madison Clark in a flashback in the Fear The Walking Dead season four mid-season finale “No One’s Gone.”

4) Unbeknownst to Al, the walker she kills as she’s trying to pick up the CRM’s radio signal is Riley, Teddy Maddox’s late right-hand man. We know this because of the “END” painted on his back by Wes (Just before Isabelle rescued him) in the season six finale, “The Beginning.” Technically, this makes this Riley’s final episode, and the only known member of Teddy’s cult to appear in this season.

5) This episode gets its name from the sort of team the Civic Republic Military has sent after Isabelle: A Reclamation team.
