6) This episode’s title sequence features a silhouette of Althea, with a CRM helicopter to her left, a Civil War-era cannon to her right, with a green background. The title card’s edges are still burning with a completely different theme song.

7) As they coordinate their plan to steal the CRM’s fuel and ammo, Al tells Morgan, she’ll be on channel four, the same channel Morgan used to communicate with survivors across Texas in season five (Until the Pioneers co-opted his whole operations).

8) Why did Isabelle throw away her life in the Civic Republic Military for Al? The obvious answer would be “love,” but after finding her so dedicated to the CR’s cause in season five, what changed? Did she see the CRM do something too brutal for her to justify? After what we’ve seen them doing in this season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised.

9) After Morgan and Grace escape the CRM pilots, we see a flashback of Al giving Daniel the coordinates over the radio to meet up with Isabelle. This, along with the earlier footage from her camera showing her and Isabelle seeing the warhead launch, finally gives us a bit of the events of the season six finale from Al’s perspective.
