Fear the Walking Dead, The Portrait

We saw Strand’s true face in last week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead, but he wasn’t the only one, as we’ll see in this week’s Things To Note!

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!

Last week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead was a great character study of Victor Strand, who he is, who he was, and who he sees himself as, all centered around the titular portrait, as Strand tries to get people to see him the way he wants to be seen.

Meanwhile, we also saw his first real reunion with Morgan. We last saw them when Strand attempted to betray him during their quest to stop Teddy Maddox from launching the nuclear warheads during the season six finale. It was revealing, not just about Strand, but also Morgan, who showed how far he is now willing to go to secure his adopted daughter’s future. Even if that means doing something that is fairly uncharacteristic for him. On top of that, we learned a little bit more about this season’s newest villain, Arno, the leader of the Stalkers, as well as June, who still hasn’t fully recovered from losing John.

Some of this was obvious in this episode, the rest not so much; there were, as there always are, some details, clues, and hints that you could easily have overlooked. I made it my mission to find as many of these as possible and put them all together here, so you don’t need to go looking for them.
