The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero are often involved in other projects. They co-own the Nic and Norman’s restaurants, which is only one of their side gigs. In November, Adult Swim released a new video that features a cameo of the duo.

The video is a Night of the Living Dead inspired feature for Run The Jewels song “Never Look Back.” Shot in black and white, the video plays out the film’s opening scene, complete with the line “They’re coming to get your Barbara.”

The video plays out the movie very well, complete with a horde of the undead. RTJ, aka El-P and Killer Mike, get involved in the story and come across two familiar faces. Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero are briefly seen as they man a roadblock that El-P and Killer Mike come across. Reedus and Nicotero are credited as The Hillbillies.

Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero cameo

It is always fun to see our favorite Walking Dead personalities in “the wild.” Norman Reedus plays Daryl Dixon and Greg Nictoero, who, besides SFX, directing and executive producing also frequently stars as a walker in the series.

You can see the whole video below, and Reedus and Nicotero show up at the three-minute mark.

Norman Reedus music videos

Reedus has starred in several music videos. One that is especially awesome is “Judas” by Lady Gaga. Reedus plays the part of Judas Iscariot, yes, from the bible, the one that betrayed Jesus. Gaga played Mary Magdalene and Rick Gonzalez as a Jesus-like character. The apostles are a biker gang in the video, and Gaga’s Mary Magdalene is torn between her devotion to Jesus and Judas. Gaga has said this video is an “aggressive metaphor” about forgiveness, betrayal, and coming to terms with some of the darker things in your life. (viaTooFab)

Other music videos that Reedus has starred in:

“Wicked as It Seems” by Keith Richards (1992)

“Violently Happy” by Björk (1994)

“Strange Currencies” by R.E.M. (1995)

“Fake Plastic Trees” by Radiohead (1995)

“It Just Feels” by Jihae (2015)

“Don’t Chase the Dead” by Marilyn Manson (2020)

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 20, 2022, with part two of season 11, the final season for this series.
