The Walking Dead World Beyond started slow to build the characters, and some fans weren’t sure if they could hold on for season two. Those viewers who stayed loyal and watched the second season were rewarded with an outstanding series finale and an amazing post-credits scene that will alter the TWDU.

World Beyond was a coming-of-age series that showed a group of young people who lived protected by walls for the majority of their lives. Even though they grew up in the apocalypse, they didn’t know how bad things were outside those walls.

Many viewers expected some major Rick Grimes news in this series and were disappointed because this wasn’t the case. With the crossover of Jadis from The Walking Dead to World Beyond, everyone thought since she was the last person we knew to see him, she would provide some great information as to what happened to him. Sadly, we only learned that she traded Rick for her entrance into the community.

The Walking Dead World Beyond finale

World Beyond aired its series finale on December 5, 2021, and it was a great way to end a series. We saw so much character development over the two seasons, and in the end, we saw that many of these characters still have a lot of story to tell. Perhaps we will see them in a Tales of the Walking Dead episode or inThe Walking Dead movies.

This series ended in a great way; it left us wanting more. This series was well done, especially in the second season. We saw the characters grow and adapt to their new surroundings, and once they found their place in this world, they thrived.

The deep dive into the CRM let us see how this organization operates and that they are a force to be reckoned with.  And, the introduction of Jadis as an antagonist was another amazing element to this series. World Beyond gave us great insight into the CRM, who we will most likely see more of Fear TWD or the movies.

It is sad to say goodbye to these characters and the actors who did such a fantastic job portraying them. We’ve said goodbye to many characters across the three series, but this is the first series that has ended closing the chapter on these characters. Hopefully, we will see at least some of them elsewhere in TWDU.
