During part 1 of The Walking Dead season 11, a few characters and all of Oceanside have yet to be seen. One character that fans are curious about is Luke, played by Dan Fogler. Evidently, he’s been off fighting fantastic beasts and can now be seen in the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

Since season nine, Fogler has played Luke on The Walking Dead. He came on the scene with his group consisting of Magna, Kelly, Connie and Yumiko in “What Comes After.” He has even found a female companion from Jules, an Oceanside resident.

We haven’t seen Luke since “A Certain Doom” in season 10, but it is assumed that he went to Ocieaside with Jules after the Whisperer war to help at that community.

Dan Fogler Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

Fans were excited to learn that Fogler would reprise his role of Jacob Kowalski in the newest installment of the Fantastic Beast films. His character is featured in the trailer below for the film set to release on April 15, 2022.

This is the third film in the Fantastic Beasts to see Fogler portray Jacob Kowalski. This film is set many years after The Crimes of Grindelwald. Dumbledore tasks newt Scamander and his allies on a mission that will pit them against the dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald’s army.

Additional cast includes  Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Callum Turner, William Nadylam, Poppy Corby-Tuech, Jessica Williams, Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen.

Fogler is currently filming a new series for Paramount+ titled The Offer. He plays director Francis Ford Coppola in this biographical drama about the development and production of The Godfather. Also starring in this series are Miles Teller, Matthew Goode, Giovanni Ribisi, Colin Hanks, Juno Temple, Burn Gorman and fellow TWD actor Kirk Acevedo.

It is great to see that Dan Fogler is so busy with some fantastic projects and fans of The Walking Dead are eager to see him back on that series as well.
