Who Is THE MOST REDEEMABLE Villain Of The Walking Dead: World Beyond?

After a lot of thinking, I have to give the title of most redeemable villain to Lieutenant Colonel Elizabeth Kublek.

Why you might ask? One word: Remorse. More so than anyone else on our list, Lt. Colonel Kublek had remorse for the part she played in the evils committed by the Civic Republic Military.

After the CRM’s research facility fell and Huck was killed, Jadis offered condolences to the Lt. Colonel. During their conversation, Elizabeth laid out for Jadis why she was willing to go so far as to destroy Campus Colony and Omaha for the sake of Project Votus. She’d hoped that, had it succeeded, that the more civilized people (Like those at Perimeter or Campus Colony) would have a solid foundation to rebuild society on, no longer having to fear the dead.

But, after the insurrection at the research facility, Elizabeth began to wonder, after everything the CRM had done, whether there would be any “civilized” people within the Civic Republic, whether you could call a community that allowed such atrocities could truly be called “civilized.”

This is why Lt. Colonel Kublek gets my vote as the most redeemable villain of this season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Unlike so many other Walking Dead villains that came before, she looked at the things she did and recognized that she was doing them for what she believed was a greater good. The things she was doing were still inherently evil, and she realized that that evil outweighed the good she thought would result.

It’s only when you realize that you’ve done evil that you can start working towards doing good.

But, what do you guys think? Was there another villain who was more redeemable than Lt. Colonel Kublek? Was there someone I didn’t even think of who you thought belonged here? Let me know in the comments!
