The Walking Dead universe included in TV Line’s best 2021 quotes

The Walking Dead universe is full of some truly great quotes. Fans often use some of them in their daily conversations, confusing those who have no clue what they are talking about. TVLine has a weekly spotlight on the best TV quotes for that week. At the end of the year, they give us the best of the best with the Quotes of the Year. 

The Walking Dead universe received two mentions on the TVLine best of 2021 list this year. The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead had quotes mentioned in the list.

The Walking Dead quote was from Princess (Paola Lázaro) from season 10c when she was being held by the Commonwealth in the train car. She had quite a bit of memorable dialogue in this episode. We learned a lot about this character, who is fairly new to the series. Lázaro has done an outstanding job bringing this comic book character to life on the screen.

"“I’m not crazy if that’s what you’re thinking. I mean, there’s the ADHD, the anxiety, the PTSD, the depression, the crushing loneliness and the active imagination that helps me cope with all of that, but like… maybe that’s the only sane response to an insane world. You know what I’m saying?”"

Fear the Walking Dead’s quote came from Grace (Karen David). Her quote was said just before the nuclear bombs exploded, and she and Morgan (Lennie James) were sure this would be their last moment alive. They confessed their feelings for one another and shared their first kiss.

"“I watched Athena’s father die from radiation exposure. It was long, it was painful, and there’s no escaping it. I’m not going to watch that happen again, not to someone else I love.  Yeah, Morgan. That’s the problem with me: I never tell anyone how I feel until it’s too late.”“That’s you and me both.”"
