Fear the Walking Dead survival rule of the week

We all need a little guidance to navigate through a zombie apocalypse, something this week’s Fear The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week, may provide.

In the midseason finale of season seven of Fear The Walking Deadwe saw Alicia try to find her way out of the bunker by following the walker of a fallen senator, then follow that same walker to a location the senator knew when he was alive. We then heard Strand reveal that, despite his best efforts to convince himself otherwise, he needed Alicia to help him lead the community and civilization he was trying to build. I realized something: In a zombie apocalypse, people need guidance.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it: No one’s ever gone through one, so, of course, they’re going to need someone to help them find their way through.

Even the people we look to for guidance need their own guides because they’ll be doing something new to them, too. For them, guidance can come from something as simple as a map or as complicated as blundering their way through the apocalypse.

For this week’s Survival Rule Of The Week, we’re going to look at the various ways we need guidance in a zombie apocalypse and the various ways we can get that guidance, whether it comes from another survivor or something far simpler than that.
