Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark stars Fear TWD’s Zoe Colletti
By Renee Hansen
Fear the Walking Dead’s Zoe Colletti portrayed Dakota in season six. She was introduced as Virginia’s (Colby Minifie) sister, but it was later discovered that they were actually mother and daughter. On the outside, Dakota seemed to be a sweet girl with a rebellious side who feared her sister. But, her true nature would eventually be revealed.
Dakota’s first act in the series was to rescue Morgan from a herd of walkers after her sister shot him. She isn’t seen doing this but leaves a note with Morgan after she tends his wound, telling him she heard his message and he is destined for greater things.
Although she keeps up the sweet kid ploy, it is slowly revealed that Dakota wasn’t so different than the sister she seemed to fear. She also had a murderous streak and is responsible for the death of fan-favorite John Dorie (Garrett Dillahunt). She would also betray Morgan and his group to join Teddy Maddox and his doomsday cult. This choice would result in her death from his nuclear explosion.
