Walking Dead fandom celebrates Norman Reedus’ birthday

The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus can’t help but feel the love with the outpour of birthday wishes he receives from family, friends and co-workers. Twitter was abuzz with birthday wishes from fans, including fan art and videos specifically created to celebrate his 53rd birthday. If you search his name on Twitter, there is a never-ending string of well wishes.
Reedus is currently filming the final season of The Walking Dead, where he has portrayed the crossbow welding, motorcycle riding Daryl Dixon since season one. He quickly became a fan favorite, and fans have coined the phrase “If Daryl dies, we riot.”
With the announcement of the series ending also came the news that Daryl’s fate would be sealed with a spin-off series focusing on Daryl and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). This announcement soothed fans of the duo with the assurance they would survive the final season.
Norman Reedus birthday
Reedus’ finance Diane Kruger wished him a happy birthday with a photo of him and his famous cat, Eye in the Dark.
Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang created a heartfelt thread highlighting the actor and his character’s best traits.
Walking Dead director, producer, SFX guru and co-owner of Nic & Norman’s, Greg Nicotero, posted a question asking if they were still getting tattoos. Maybe matching BFF tattoos?
Nic & Norman’s official page shared a great photo of Reedus and Nicotero in front of the bar at the Senoia location.
