Fear the Walking Dead, Survival rule of the week: War is hell.

The Walking Dead Like War. Expect Them To Want To Join In.
For argument’s sake, let’s assume that, rather than wait for Strand to come to them, Alicia and Morgan take the fight to The Tower. While this might alleviate some of the problems they’d have fighting at the Pennsylvania, it opens them up to another one: Strand’s “Walker Moat,” which surrounds his tower and largely prohibits entry.
If Alicia and Morgan were to attack Strand, they would immediately draw the attention of the hundreds of walkers he has outside of The Tower. This would make any fight there at best a three-way battle and at worst, a battle where Strand’s troops can use the walkers as an additional weapon against Morgan and Alicia’s forces. Neither prospect is a very good one for them.
This is another factor you need to consider before deciding to go to war against another group in a zombie apocalypse. Think of a battle in the apocalypse like a Royal Rumble, except, instead of the crowd cheering on the melee, they all decide to jump into the ring and attack all of the participants! Doesn’t that sound like fun?!
Wait that doesn’t sound like fun. That sounds terrible, and if you don’t account for that, you could have a nasty surprise descend upon you in the middle of the battle, which you won’t be ready for.
