The Walking Dead series will premiere the second part of its three-part final season in February. The second part of the season will pick up where the first left off. Maggie and her group were in the middle of a battle with the Reapers. Alexandria was fighting a storm and a horde of walkers while Eugene and crew dealt with major issues at the Commonwealth.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse into what to expect with the next installation of this season. Daryl, Carol, and many others find themselves transplanted into the Commonwealth, a progressive community with 50,000 residents. Governer Pamela Milton will be introduced in the second episode.

The Reapers battle will also be forefront as the first episode in part two will pick up where that altercation left off. Leah killed the Reaper’s leader, Pope, blamed it on Daryl, and proceeded to take over as leader of this group.

The series will return to AMC on February 20 with the premiere of part two of season 11. AMC+ subscribers will be able to view this episode one week early on February 13.

AMC released the official synopsis for season 11B

"The Walking Dead returns with many of our heroes fighting imminent hellfire under Reaper attack; while others battle Mother Nature’s torrential wrath in Alexandria. For all, their world is literally crashing down around them. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth is not as idyllic as it seems. Will they be able to pick up the pieces and who will be alive to help? Will their relationships heal or fracture? Will olive branches be extended, accepted, or rejected? For some, hope will be renewed. Others will be pushed past the point of no return. One truth holds tight: Lives hang in the balance with each decision drastically changing their future, their chances of survival, and the state of each community."

There are title names released for most of the eight episodes and synopsis for some.

“No Other Way” – February 20 – this episode was written by Corey Reed and directed by Jon Amiel. The synopsis of this episode reads:

"Hellfire rains down on those at Meridian as every fight with the Reapers proves to be a brutal battle. At home in Alexandria, the violent rainstorm rages on as walkers continue to pour in, threatening everyone’s safety, including Judith and Gracie."

“New Haunts” – February 27 – this episode was written by Magali Lozano and directed by Jon Amiel. The synopsis of this episode reads:

"Weeks have passed since the Alexandrians arrived at the Commonwealth. They adjust to their classifications, their assigned jobs, and the oddity of making new friends."

“Rogue Elements” – March 6

“All or Nothing” – March 13

“Warlords” – March 20

“The Rotton” – March 27

The synopsis informs viewers that the next episode will pick up with the Reapers altercation. Many viewers are ready for this storyline to be completed as they feel it has served no purpose.

Alexandria will still be battling the storm and the horde of walkers who entered the community through the damaged walls.

A small-time jump will happen in episode two, and, as the trailer shows, many Alexandrians will be at the Commonwealth.
