Fear the Walking Dead – out of sight, out of mind

I have to go back to the whole “Alicia and Strand ignoring Arno” issue and ask: Do they think that, just because they don’t see Arno, that he’s dead? I doubt that he is.

For all Alicia, Morgan, or Strand know, Arno could have been watching or maybe even listening in on everything they were doing and talking about. He would then learn more about the relationship between his enemies and their growing conflict, all without them even knowing he was there. He could sit and wait for the aftermath.

I believe that, in a zombie apocalypse, especially if you don’t come across other people or other groups for a while, people may start to think they are alone, the whole “out of sight, out of mind”-thing playing tricks on them.

Rest assured, however, there will be other people out there. People are living in and roaming around the same area you are occupying. They will be hiding because they are afraid or smart strategists, and you don’t even realize they’re there.

Just because you can’t see other people around doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
