Zombie Apocalypse – people don’t always stay gone

As I said earlier, Alicia, Morgan, and Strand could have just assumed that Arno decided to leave everyone to their little piece of hell called the wasteland and not look back after Grace sent him packing.

A person might argue that, if you’ve presented a big enough show of force, that a hostile will take the hint and get the hell out of dodge. There’s a good chance that some people will count their blessings and move on to greener pastures. Frankly, that wouldn’t be a bad idea if confronted by a strong enough enemy. Considering the fact that we’re talking about a zombie apocalypse, it’s likely that, either out of pride or confidence, a hostile will turn right around and decide to eliminate you.

If they do, there’s a pretty good chance that they’re not just going to announce themselves to you.  They may know when the time is right, but they’re not going to get scared off and then come right back for a second round. What they’re more likely to do is hang back for a while, let you think that they’re gone, and then, just when you’re least prepared for them, come back and rain on your parade.
