The film Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer starring Walking Dead actor Michael Rooker is getting some fantastic 4k Limited Edition Blu-Ray treatment. Arrow Films Video is releasing an impressive limited edition box set.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is touted as one of the most disturbing films ever made. The movie tells the story of real-life serial killers Henry Lee Lucas and Otis Toole. The MPAA denied the film an R rating as the content was too shocking for this rating. The film was released in the late 80s with an “X” rating previously reserved on pornographic films.

The pair committed many horrific murders that they also videotaped. Lucus and Toole confessed to numerous murders but later recanted the confessions as a hoax. Lucus killed his mother in 1960 and would eventually state that this was the only murder he committed.

Roger Ebert has stated that film is intended to illuminate, not entertain.
